The LAPL (Los Angeles Public Library) provides students with the opportunity to obtain a Student Success Card. This card can be used to check out books in person as well as read eBooks. Overdrive is the app and online resource.

Take a look at LAUSD's Teaching Books. It's a great website that has audio excerpts for books along with 'book trailers', short videos describing the books.
